Candence Wills, M.I.D

Expertise: Institutional responses to marginalized populations; hate/bias motivated crimes; human trafficking; international comparative criminal justice; public policy

Candi is a Ph.D. student of Criminology and Justice Policy at Northeastern University and earned her Masters in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA, Hail to Pitt!). Recently, she was awarded an experiential fellowship from Northeastern to serve at the United Nations Office of Drug and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna, Austria as a research fellow, working on the Global Trafficking in Persons Report 2020. Candi strongly supports justice, equality, and equity among underserved communities and marginalized populations; she is a working member in the Institute of Race and Justice and Violence and Justice Research Lab at Northeastern.
